Oh Mudder

My son Hank is 4 years old. He talks... a lot. I love it. Love that he has so much to say, and isn't shy about saying it.
Anyway, he is a pretty clear speaker, except for "th" which comes out as "d." He recently went through a phase where he referred to me as Mother. This is instead of the usual Mommy, occasional Mama and Mom. It's totally hysterical to me that he calls me Mother which is so formal, and we are so not formal. The even funnier part is of course that is comes out sounding like "Mudder" instead of "Mother." My husband Nathan calls him our little boy from Brooklyn. "Oh Mudder." "Play with me Mudder." "Mudder, I love you."
I love you too buddy. So much.
